The Global Safety & Security Team p rotects the people, brand, business operations, and property of Salesforce by delivering trusted and scalable safety & security programs, focused on a commitment to service. We are searching for an Associate Manager to support our Security Operations program in India. This position is based in Hyderabad and the selectee will report directly to the Manager, Physical Security Operations - India.
Role Description
You will be responsible for the following:
- Managing and mentoring a team of contract security personnel
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key internal partners such as Real Estate & Workplace Services, Health & Safety, Resilience, local leadership, functional business areas, and regional/site leadership throughout India
- Cultivating and maintaining effective liaison with relevant external entities, such as government and law enforcement agencies, industry bodies, regulatory agencies and private sector counterparts
- Executing operations consistent with global security standards and direct enforcement of those standards when necessary
- Coordinating closely with the Global Crisis Management Team (GCMT) and participating in the Regional Incident Management Team (RIMT) to support incident response as it relates to India
- Investigations and physical security incident response, includes participation in the Violence Prevention Program
- Working in close coordination with the Risk Intelligence Team to ensure the proactive protection of our facilities throughout India
- Supporting the planning, directing, and executing of event security for small to medium size in-region / on-campus events, and supporting large public facing events when necessary
- Supporting the management of local contracts, resources, and vendors; includes scheduling quarterly business reviews, capturing metrics and reporting on KPIs
- Maintaining an environment where our people feel safe and confident in our ability to protect them

The successful candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience successfully leading a physical security team in a corporate physical security role
- Recent hands-on experience throughout India is mandatory
- Overall experience of 5+ years in security or closely related services in public or private sector
- Demonstrated experience managing/supporting a successful security operations program
- Presentation, writing, research, and analysis skills
- Familiarity with multiple aspects of a Corporate Security program beyond Operations to include
- Risk Intelligence and Threat Monitoring
- Event Security
- Investigations
- Executive Protection
- Travel Security
- Security Systems Technology
- Project Management
- Prior experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com and use of our business solutions
- ASIS CPP and/or PSP certification preferred
