Ready to contribute to the development of the state, we’re currently adding a further 3960 MW limit with very basic innovation to our current armada.
Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL) was established on dated 25.08.1980 under the Companies’ Act 1956 for the development of new nuclear energy projects in the state area. The main Thermal Power Station developed by UPRVUNL was the Unchahar Thermal Power Station of 2X210 MW limit and it was moved to NTPC on dated 13.02.1992. On dated 14.01.2000, in understanding to U.P. State Electricity Reforms Acts 1999 and activity of U.P. Power Reforms Transfer Scheme 2000, U.P. State Electricity Board, till then liable for age, transmission and dispersion of force inside the province of Uttar Pradesh, was unbundled and activities of the state area nuclear energy plants were given over to uprvunl.
